Windows Data Backup

Losing data occurs more often than you realize.

There is an old computer technician saying: "There are two kinds of data; data that has been lost, and data that will be lost."

What kind of data do you have on your computer?

There are a million things that can damage your data.  Some examples:

  • Hard drives get old and break, wear and tear over time degrades them.
  • Power outages can cut off power to your computer, damaging files.
  • Power surges can blow out your hard drive.
  • Data could be accidentally deleted, or even worse - deleted by disgruntled employees.

We offer 3 types of data backup:

How much would it cost to replace your lost data? Could that data ever really be replaced? Would data loss put you out of business? The next time your hard drive crashes, you could be losing valuable photos, business plans, proposals, emails, high scores, and more.

Tape Backup Option

Tape backups provide an easy way to store your data.  Tapes can be taken off site or stored in a safety deposit box for safe keeping.  This provides a way for businesses or private users to keep an archived snapshot of their data on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.  Storing tapes off-site is a great way to protect against catastrophes such as floods or fires.  When a disaster strikes, the last thing you want to worry about is your valuable data being lost.  With a set of backup tapes, you could be up and running very quickly with little or no disruption to your business.

External Hard Drive Backup Option

Let us help you keep your data safe by setting you up with a backup hard drive and automated backup schedule that can help protect you against data loss.

We analyze your required backup capacity based on what files you need backed up. We will fit you with an external hard drive and configure Windows to create a rotating backup to keep your precious data safe and sound.

External hard drives are a great way to store data - they are fast and efficient.  However, they are susceptible to fire, water, magnetic fields, and physical shock.  Hard drive backups are not suitable for mission critical data or for protection against data loss from disasters.

Managed Online Backup Option
(Requires broadband Internet connection and ongoing subscription)

We offer online backup services to keep your data safe and secure. Your data will be encrypted using near-military level encryption schemes.

There is a one-time setup fee that includes the backup software and the labor to setup a custom backup solution suitable for your business.

We will install and configure your backup software by remote connection.  In addition, we will monitor your backups to be sure they are executing without problems.

All you have to do is sit back and rest assured that your data is safe and secure in our data centers.
